The interpreter sits or stands among the participants and simultaneously interprets in a low voice. Whispered interpreting can only be used for very small groups of participants sitting or standing close together. This technique is used mainly in bilateral meetings or in groups where most participants do not share a common language.
Whispered interpretion is often used instead of consecutive interpretion in order to save time. Sometimes, the interpreter will use headphones to ensure s/he can hear the speaker properly.
In France, or overseas, for individuals or a multicultural audience, our project coordinators also take care of equipment hire and on-site technical support.
